Proposal Submission Activity from September 16 to October 15, 2023:
Five submissions for extramural support totaled $2,035,133 by faculty from the Departments of Chemistry, Criminal Justice and Criminology, History, and Psychology.

We want to congratulate Dr. Cynthia Grace-McCaskey, Department of Anthropology; Dr. Erin Field, Department of Biology; Dr. Michelle Malkin, Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology; Dr. Meghan Millea, Department of Economics; Dr. Margaret Bauer, Department of English; Dr. Jennifer McKinnon, Department of History; Dr. Matthew Whited, Department of Psychology; and Dr. Mamadi Corra, Department of Sociology, each for receiving a new grant award.

FY 2023: 61 Total Awards = $6,983,260
FY 2024: 26 Total Awards = $5,213,303

For FY 2024, IES is accepting applications for research training under three programs:

  • Early Career Development and Mentoring Program for Education Research (Early Career Program)
  • Early Career Development and Mentoring Program for Faculty at Minority-Serving Institutions (Early Career MSI Program)
  • Methods Training for Education Researchers (Methods Training Program)
